                       Circus of Chefs . . . The Gala 2009

Sunday, September 13, 2009   5:30-9:30 pm for a Taste of Oregon in Baraboo! 

Circus of Chefs is the annual gala fundraiser for Circus World. More than 400 people attend to sample some of the most delicious food and tempting beverages from more than 30 of the finest restaurants, breweries and vineyards in Wisconsin. During the event, guests will bid on live and silent auctions and have the opportunity to participate in our cork drawing. Our chefs will be recognized in a ceremony during the evening when the coveted Silver Tray Awards are presented to the winner of each food and beverage category. The event will culminate with an incredible circus performance featuring the Balloonatic.

We would like to Thank everyone that attended "The Taste of Oregon". It was a huge success, we chatted with everyone about Catering, Prime Rib and Seafood prices for the holidays. Our wine tasting was a big hit! Unfortunely, it is very hard to keep up, there is a new wine, beer or liqour added almost every day. One topic did stand out, Gift Cards. A JL Richards Gift Card might be perfect for that someone special. Our Gift Cards can be purchased for any amount, they do not have a date limit, and can be reloaded. A gift card can be used for a couple Prime Steaks, Twice Baked Potatoes, Salad and a bottle of Wine for that special meal. The card also comes in handy for the High School Students that have lunch with us every day. Moms know the money is going to lunch.

The Oregon Chamber of Commerce has announced a another Special Event, the "Taste of Oregon".
 
On Nov. 20, 08, over fifty area businesses are going to be on hand, so you can meet your neighbor.
They will answer your questions, get their opinion and sample their wares.
 
JL Richards will be there with something tasty to try and sip.

E-Mail Alert: "Taste of Oregon" Biggest Expo Yet
 
Chamber Hosts the Biggest Business Expo Yet!  
Seventy three business expo participants are now gearing up to showcase their products and services in the Oregon Area Business Expo, scheduled for November 20, 5:30-8:30PM at the Gorman & Company Building. 
 
In addition to meeting face-to-face with our area business owners & representatives, there will be free wine tasting and beer sampling. Local restaurants and catering service companies will offer their food to get attendees a "Taste of Oregon" for a $1.00/serving.  Raffle prizes will also be drawn throughout the evening and a surprise grand prize at the conclusion of the event.
 
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make phone calls to area businesses  and extend the invitation to exhibit. 
 
We now have reached full exhibiting capacity. We look forward to seeing many of you on the 20th!  Remember:  admission is free and open to the public. So invite many friends, co-workers and customers.
